Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Laravel Developer to join our tech team and work on scalable web applications and APIs. The ideal candidate should have strong backend fundamentals, hands-on experience with Laravel, and the ability to collaborate closely with frontend, DevOps, and product teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize web applications using Laravel
• Design and implement RESTful APIs
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Work with MySQL and optimize database queries
• Integrate third-party APIs (payment gateways, SMS, email, etc.)
• Implement authentication, authorisation, and security best practices
• Collaborate with frontend developers (HTML, CSS, JS, React)
• Debug, troubleshoot, and fix application issues
• Participate in code reviews and follow best coding practices
• Deploy and maintain applications on Linux/AWS servers

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in PHP and Laravel framework
• Experience with MySQL / PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of MVC architecture
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with queues, jobs, cron, and scheduling
• Understanding of security, performance optimisation, and caching

Good to Have:

• Experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda)
• Knowledge of Redis / Memcached
• Experience with React.js
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with SEO-friendly backend implementations
• Prior experience working on high-traffic websites or SaaS products
