Position Overview:
The HR Intern will work closely with our Human Resources team to support daily operations and contribute to key HR initiatives. This role offers exposure to various HR functions, such as talent acquisition, employee engagement, HR operations, compliance, and learning & development. This is an ideal opportunity for someone passionate about HR and eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:
- Assist with sourcing candidates via job boards, LinkedIn, and internal databases
- Help write and post job descriptions across platforms
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers
- Support in screening resumes and conducting initial candidate outreach
- Onboarding & Offboarding:
- Assist in organizing onboarding documentation and induction schedules
- Help ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires
- Participate in exit processes including documentation and feedback surveys
- HR Administration & Documentation:
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases with accuracy
- Support preparation of HR letters (offer letters, experience letters, etc.)
- Ensure proper filing of confidential employee information
- Employee Engagement & Culture:
- Assist in planning team-building activities, celebrations, and wellness programs
- Support internal communication initiatives such as newsletters or HR bulletins
- Contribute ideas to improve employee morale and engagement
- Learning & Development:
- Help coordinate training sessions, webinars, and e-learning programs
- Track attendance and feedback for development initiatives
- Support creation of training materials and presentations
- HR Projects & Initiatives:
- Participate in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts
- Assist with surveys, audits, and reporting
- Support policy reviews and updates
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong interest in learning about HR functions and practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with HR software or tools (e.g., ATS, HRIS) is a plus but not required
